Apparently these individuals would be part of the Residual Structure Support Network 62, who committed crimes in this area of the country.
Caquetá. In the framework of the operation carried out by the Joint Task Force Omega and the National Police in the south east of Colombia, six individuals were captured in the department of Caquetá and the rural area of the department of Meta.
The first action took place in the municipality of Cartagena del Chaira, in the department of Caquetá, where soldiers of the Caguán Specific Command, the National Police and the Prosecutor's Office, captured alias 'Muelas', who was wanted by the justice for the crime of homicide with aggravating circumstances and illegal possession of weapons.
"Muelas", would apparently be in charge of coordinating multiple homicides in rural and urban areas of the municipality of Cartagena del Chaira, conducting criminal intelligence against the troops, forced displacement of residents for non-payment of extortion. He would in the same way be in charge of coordinating the transportation of war materiel and military garments.
On the other hand, in the village of Turpial, rural area of La Macarena, the troops in coordination with the Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) of the National Police captured alias 'Pirci', who would apparently be in charge of extortion, control of the mobility routes of the coca paste base and conduction of criminal intelligence against the troops that operate in the area. In the same way, it is presumed that this woman would be the right hand of alias 'Chato', head of the finances group of the GAO-r structure 62.
Simultaneously in operations, alias 'La Patrona', alias 'Eder', alias 'El Enano' and alias 'El Burro' were captured, in the urban area of San Vicente del Caguán, in the department of Caquetá, to face charges for the crime of extortion.
It is noteworthy that, these operations are conducted thanks to the intelligence of the National Police and the support of the Remotely Manned Aircrafts of the Colombian Air Force, which helps determine exact location of the individuals. These people were put into custody of the Attorney General's Office for judicial process.
