In the course of an operation against the Organized Armed Group Clan del Golfo, it was possible to arrest alias 脷nico or Jer贸nimo, alleged member of the Baud贸 Substructure, at the service of drug trafficking.
This operation was carried out in Puerto Meluk, municipality of Medio Baud贸, Department of Choc贸, where the National Army, the Colombian Navy, the Colombian Air Force, and the National Police participated, to destabilize the illicit activities of the Jairo de Jes煤s Durango Restrepo structure, belonging to that GAO.
This individual had been in the organization for eight years and had an arrest warrant for the crimes of association to commit aggravated crimes, trafficking, manufacturing or carrying drugs; the man was given to the authorities for the respective prosecution.
In the municipality of Puerto C贸rdoba, municipality of Alto Baud贸, two alleged members of the GAO Clan del Golfo, alias Lucas and Camilo, were brought to justice. At the time of their voluntary surrender, they handed over 57 kilos of coca base paste, which belonged to the drug trafficking ringleader alias 脷nico.
