As part of the Plan Bicentenario H茅roes de la Libertad (Bicentenary Plan Heroes of Freedom), a new operation against outlaw groups was carried out thanks to the work of the 23rd Brigade of the National Army, in coordination with the Carabineros Directorate of the National Police and inter-agency with the Attorney鈥檚 office against Organized Crime, which led to the destruction of a laboratory for the production of this narcotic in rural areas of the municipality of El Tambo, department of Nari帽o.
The complex, which was made of seven rustic structures, was in La Ovejera village, and inside were found more than 5,500 gallons of acetone and 110 gallons of DIESEL, that are liquid supplies for the manufacture of this narcotic.
In addition, several chemical supplies such as lime, caustic soda and potassium permanganate, used by these outlaw structures to speed up the production process of the psychotropic, were found.
The 23rd Brigade of the National Army, through its tactical units, and in coordination with the other institutions, continues destabilizing the finances of these outlaw structures, striking hard at the link of production, distribution and marketing of cocaine hydrochloride.
