In an unarmed work in Solano, Caquetá, a municipality that has been marked by various factors of instability and in order to contribute to the general wellbeing of the inhabitants, the Air Combat Command No. 6, of the Colombian Air Force, carried out a Medical and Humanitarian Assistance Activity at the Campo Elías Marulanda School in coordination with the municipal Mayor's Office.
During the activity, more than a thousand services were provided in health areas such as family medicine, dentistry, nursing, psychology, physiotherapy and optometry, in addition, legal advice was provided, as well as the distribution of medicines, prescribed glasses and donations thanks to the strategic allies of the Institution that included 15 meeting chairs, powdered milk, clothes, oral health kits, backpacks and caps in order to significantly improve the quality of life of the solanences.
The activity was attended by various institutions of the public and private sector, including Professional Officers of the Air Force Reserve, Colombian National Army, the Colombian Navy, the National Police, the Mayor's Office of Solano and the School Campo Elías Marulanda, joining efforts and reaffirming the commitment to these people and their surroundings.
With the support of 50 health professionals and strategic allies, who joined from different cities of the country, the distribution of three tons of donations, this medical, wellness and recreation activity was successfully concluded.
