With this result, the commercialization of more than 350 thousand doses of the drug on the international illegal market was prevented.
The Colombian Navy, in an inter-institutional operation with the Technical Investigation Corps - CTI of the Attorney General's Office, arrested an individual who apparently was guarding an illegal merchandise of 151 kilograms of cocaine hydrochloride in Santa Marta - Magdalena.
The facts took place when the authorities made effective a search warrant issued by the Prosecutor's Office 31 of the Specialized Directorate against Drug Trafficking of Santa Marta, arriving at a building in this municipality where the individual was surprised and arrested.
During the inspection of the place, more than 150 rectangular packages were found by troops with a substance that was submitted to the Approved Preliminary Identification Test, determining that it was 151 kilograms of cocaine hydrochloride, a shipment that would have a cost of more than five million dollars on the international illegal market.
The material found and the arrested individual were put into custody of the authority.
