The arrested and the material were put into custody of the authorities.
As part of the Ayacucho Campaign Plan, troops of the Tenth Brigade, a Military Unit attached to the First Division of the Army, found 21 kilograms of cocaine hydrochloride on the road that leads to the municipality of Urumita, in the Department of La Guajira.
In the same way, in this procedure it was possible to arrest two people, who allegedly would be in charge of transporting the drug that would cost 168 million Colombian pesos.
In another military operation carried out in the municipality of San Juan del Cesar, Department of La Guajira, the soldiers of the Mechanized Cavalry Group N.掳 2, attached to the Tenth Brigade, arrested four people with war material, who were traveling in a private vehicle.
A pistol, a revolver, a short shotgun, two pistols of reduced lethality and ten cartridges of different calibers were seized of these individuals. Those arrested must face charges for the crime of manufacturing, trafficking and/or carrying firearms and ammunition.
The material found and the arrested individuals were put into custody of the authorities, who will be in charge of continuing with due process.
