Department of Chocó. So far this year, the soldiers of the Joint Task Force Titan have captured more than 160 members of outlaw organizations.
As a result of the ongoing operation and continuous operations under the Horus Plan and the Victoria Plus Stabilization and Consolidation Plan, the Joint Task Force Titan of the Seventh Division managed to strike an important blow against illegal groups in the department of Chocó.
In a first operation, carried out in the municipality of Quibdó, with the support of the CTI (Technical Investigations Corps) of the Prosecutor's Office, it was possible to capture two individuals that belonged to the criminal group “Los Pachitos”. In the exchange of shots, one of the delinquents was injured, requiring his transfer to a health center.
The two people captured, 18 and 22, had been demanding two million pesos from an inhabitant of the community, to return a motorcycle to him. Both individuals will be prosecuted for the crime of extortion.
On the other hand, in the rural area of the capital city of the department, the troops found an illegal hideout apparently belonging to terrorists of the Manuel Hernández El Boche front of the Eln.
In this place they found a 7.65mm caliber pistol, a hand grenade, 150 cartridges of different calibers for rifle, as well as magazines and material of interest to military intelligence.
