In joint, coordinated and inter-agency operations, the Hercules Joint Task Force, the Pacific Naval force, the counter-narcotics Brigade and the CTI (Technical Investigations Corps) of the Office of the attorney general have destroyed two laboratories for the production of narcotics.
The military forces, in compliance with the Bicentenary Campaign Plan Heroes de la Libertad and the CTI (Technical Investigations Corps) of the Attorney General's Office, find and destroy a laboratory for production cocaine hydrochloride and another of coca base paste composed of eight clandestine structures in the village of Llanage, in the municipality of Francisco Pizarro, Nariño.
The operations over the area against the residual organized armed group, Gao-r, Oliver Sinisterra led to the dismantling of eight structures, where 2.5 tons of cocaine hydrochloride, 863 kilograms of coca base paste, 87 kilograms of chopped coca leaf, 280 gallons of gasoline, 120 gallons of diesel and materials used for drug production were by troops.
According to intelligence information, this result hits the illicit activities of this group in more than 15 billion pesos, and prevents the drug trafficking activities in the area. This laboratory had the production capacity of five tons per month. The material and the structures were destroyed under controlled conditions in the area of operations, complying with environmental preservation measures.
With this result a powerful blow is given to the residual GAO Oliver Sinisterra that commits crimes on the Pacific coast of Nariño, thus damaging the illicit finances and criminal operation of this structure.
