Introducing the documentary Anonymous Victims: The military and civilians of the Colombian Air Force and their families reconstructing from pain
The Colombian Air Force, with the leadership of the Strategic Department of Legal Affairs and Human Rights through the Strategic Section of Analysis, Context and post-Conflict and the National Center for Historical Memory, launched in Bogotá the documentary Anonymous Victims: the military and civilians of the Colombian Air Force and their families reconstructing from pain.
This project began in February of this year, and counted on the support of the National Center for Historical Memory, as a fundamental ally to make visible and dignify the members of the Colombian Air Force and their families, victims of the conflict.
The documentary tells the stories of the members of the Institution who have suffered different blows on their human dignity, which constitutes serious violations of their Human Rights and breaches of International Humanitarian Law. They are direct and indirect victims of the internal armed conflict due to various acts that were perpetrated in different regions of the country, between 1960s and 2000s by illegal armed groups.
