In the framework of the commemoration of the 203 years of the Military Logistics Weapon, the School of Logistics carried out the first of the International Logistics Congress, an academic event that counted on the participation of 575 officers, non-commissioned officers and civilian personnel.
This environment was created with the aim of highlighting the growth and constant dynamism of the post-pandemic logistics industry, which has become the key to global development and the improvement of the quality of life of people and countries. As for the growth of the industry in the markets, it can be seen how they are taking over and carried out the logistics process more heavily at a global level, which has new possibilities for immersion in a specific way.
The event was held in a working and virtual modality through the Zoom platform, where the attendees were military personnel of the Logistics Department, students of the Nueva Granada Military University, external guests and collaborating companies.
In the same way, within the framework of the commemoration of the anniversary of the Logistic Weapon, a strategic meeting of commanders was held, where topics were discussed about the evolution of technology along with logistics, the transformations of Military Logistics, the theaters of the Southern Army and the implementations of technology in each step of the logistics process.
Finally, the Military Medal of the Bicentenary of the Military Logistics of our Glorious National Army was granted to a military personnel of said branch, with which 8879 members of the Gray Badge were recognized for their invaluable and permanent work.
