Since July, different arrangements have been made in this park, within the framework of the Adopt a Park project, a Comprehensive operation initiative of the Aerospace Force.
With the firm social commitment characteristic of the men and women of the Air Combat Command No. 2, CACOM 2, of the Colombian Aerospace Force, the facilities of the park of the Bella Suiza of the capital city of the department of Meta were readjusted, in a coordinated work with the Communal action Board, the Visible Meta Foundation and the Santo Tomás University.
Since July, different arrangements have been made in this park, within the framework of the Adopt a Park project, a specialty of the Aerospace Force in charge of working with the community, in which improvements were made to the metal structures of the playground, pruning work, painting of the sports center and adjustments of the basketball spaces.
“The work you do for this region is very great ... the support you have given to each of the villages around has been vital for us to strengthen ourselves as people and to be very good neighbors” said Gloria Ospina, a resident of the village who attended the park reopening event organized by CACOM 2.
In the same way, Brigadier General Alejandro Vélez Ospina assured that “all united, the institutions, the Military Forces and the inhabitants, I know that we are going to achieve peace and that is the example that the children are seeing.”
