Alias Mono Gringo would be a member of the Caribe company, of the GAO ELN, in 2015 and he joined the GAO-r E-33.
Troops of the National Army, in coordination with the National Police, through search procedures, arrested this individual, an explosives expert apparently of the residual organized armed group GAO-r E-33, in the urban area of the municipality of Tib煤.
This decisive maneuver was executed in the Kennedy neighborhood, the central area of this municipality. The soldiers arrived at this individual's home, who arrested him in flagrante delicto.
Alias Mono Gringo had a criminal experience of more than three years in the GAO ELN and, currently, three years in the GAO-r E-33; in the same way, he worked as an explosives expert and coordinator of hitmen who would be immersed in the execution of different homicides and damages to the Military Forces in the municipality of Tib煤.
In the same way, different terrorist operations have been executed by Mono Gringo, where members of the Military Forces have been injured in the sectors La Cuatro, La Virgen and Barrio Largo, of this municipality.
It should be noted that at the time of the arrest, a long range rifle, a rifle and cartridges of different caliber were found by troops. The material and the individual were put into custody of the authorities for their respective prosecution process.
