This individual is said to have been involved in several selective assassinations of traders in the region, as well as in proselytizing and forced displacement.
Troops of the National Army in an interinstitutional manner with the Prosecutor's Office, in rural area of the municipality of Montecristo, Bolívar, arrested alias Pollo Angarita, who would be the ringleader of the Organized Armed Group, GAO, Eln, Tito Marín Company.
The incident occurred in the town of Mina Mocha, members of the security forces arrived at the place where they found this man who was trying to hide from the actions of the authorities.
Alias Pollo Angarita is accused of carrying out several selective homicides of merchants and members of productive groups in the region, as well as of inciting, apparently, the forced displacement of inhabitants of the municipalities of Mina Piojó, Mina Central and San Lucas, Bolívar, to other sectors.
In addition, this individual, who has an arrest warrant in force for the crime of rebellion, would be in charge of collecting money from extortions against miners in the department and carrying out criminal operations in the urban area of Montecristo.
At the time of his arrest, communications material and explosives were found on him.
This individual was given to the authorities, and shall be responsible for the crimes of forced displacement, rebellion and aggravated homicide.
