In response to the call of the Emergency Regulatory Center (CRUE) of the Casanare Governorate, the Colombian Aerospace Force carried out an aeromedical transfer of a minor belonging to the indigenous reserve of the Amor煤a people, Ca帽o Mochuelo, in Cravo Norte, department of Arauca, to the municipality of Yopal.
In a joint work conducted by the Casanare Air Group and the coordinating mechanism for prevention and protection against all kinds of violence against children, young people and adolescents of the department of Casanare, it was informed that it required the immediate evacuation of the child under two years of age, in order to conduct the corresponding operations for the restoration of rights.
The transfer was carried out in a C-208 Caravan aircraft, which had all the necessary technical resources for the execution of this operation. The flight lasted approximately an hour and a half, during which staff of the Colombian Family Wellbeing Institute (ICBF), ethnic affairs professionals of the Ombudsman's Office and the Children and Adolescents Police accompanied the infant and his mother throughout the journey.
