A 74-year-old woman, who needed urgent specialized medical assistance, was transported by the Colombian Air Force from the Mit煤 airfield, in the department of Vaup茅s, to the Air Combat Command No. 2, on the village of Apiay to receive adequate treatment at the Departmental Hospital of the Llanera Capital city.
The patient, belonging to the U'Wa community of Cubar谩, was taken care of by the crew of the Caravan C-208B team in a medicalized configuration, made up of the prehospital care technician, a military doctor, a pilot and a crewmember, who assisted her during the two hours of flight, to control their state of health, and be able to handle her in stable conditions to those responsible for her transportation to the hospital unit.
The effective coordination of the National Personnel Recovery Center, CNRP with the EPS (HEALTH SERVICES PROVIDER) and the Air Command of the Colombian Air Force continues to reach the most remote places to guarantee Colombians their right to health.
