Bogotá. The celebration of the 208 years of Independence of Colombia was a whole party in the city of Bogotá, where the Colombian people could appreciate the quality of human talent and some of the capabilities of the Military Forces and the National Police.
The detachment of the National Navy was headed by Rear Admiral Francisco Cubides Granados, Director of the Naval Academy of Cadets "Almirante Padilla".
The alma mater of the Colombian Naval Officers was represented by more than 380 men and women, accompanied by 15 Officers of the Cadets Battalion, who demonstrated the impetus and discipline of the Officers of the future of the National Navy.
The warmth and affection of the Colombians was evident in the messages of support and gratitude to the members of the Military Forces and the National Police. Their words are nourishment for the morale and support of the duty.
Thank you Colombia for celebrating together, as a united force, our independence party.
