In contribution to the purposes of the State, the Officers of the Comprehensive operation Section and the Mission Support Command of the Air Combat Command No. 7 together with staff of the Fonseca Sanclemente Gratitud Foundation, the Colombia Club Foundation, the Enfocarte Foundation, the Construir País Foundation, the Lions Club, and the Valle del Cauca Government, came to the municipality of Candelaria to carry out an important outreach activity with the inhabitants that benefited more than 100 people.
This educational activity that is part of the project called “Alliance for Education” is already underway, and on this occasion, it was taken to the Rosendo Mondragón Feijoo School, in the Belorizonte neighborhood of Villagorgona, leaving as a result the inauguration of a library, which was equipped with both 1,000 books managed by the Fonseca Sanclemente foundation, and with 02 sofas and 5 bookshelves donated by the Government and the Club Colombia Foundation.
In addition to the opening of this reading and research space aimed at children, adolescents, young people, teachers and other officials, the activity included a series of free services for the community. Among them, visual and cardiovascular screening, vaccination, psychoactive substance prevention talks, gender-based violence, sexual and reproductive health, among others. For this activity in Candelaria, there was in the same way the support of the National Police, Indervalle the CVC and the Municipal Health Secretariat.
In the same way, 6 gallons of liquids for cleaning were distributed by the CACOM-7 COAMI. The 104 direct beneficiaries of this Alliance for Education are complemented by the more than 902 students, parents, teachers and officials who make up these academic people of Candelaria.
