Thanks to information by the inhabitants and due to a security council with the authorities of Rioblanco, Colombian National Army achieved the surrender to justice and the recovery of two minors who were part of this residual Organized Armed Group.
A video went viral on social networks, where it can be seen that several members of the Ismael Ruiz Front are present in the village of Puerto Saldaña, municipality of Rioblanco, which received an immediate response by the troops of the Ground Operations Battalion Nº 18, the Military Operations Command Zeus, and the Sixth Brigade of Colombian National Army, who were in the same way monitoring this group of dissidents months ago.
The troops exerted significant pressure to bring these two individuals to lay down their weapons and will voluntarily surrender to the soldiers who were in the village of Bilbao, municipality of Planadas.
In this way, the members of this structure who are under the orders of alias Ivan Mordisco will make the most important decision of their lives, with the sole purpose of returning to the bosom of their home and sharing the end of the year festivities that are already approaching.
On the other hand, the two minors recovered were left under the protection of the ICBF; in the same way, war materiel, rifles, magazines, ammunition of different calibers, among other items for the exclusive use of the Military Forces, were seized.
The war material was put into custody of the authority, while those surrendered to justice were handed over to the Humanitarian Assistance Group to the Demobilized (GADH).
