In a joint operation carried out in the village of San José del Bajo Danta, in Puerto Asís, Putumayo, the Air Combat Command No. 6 of the Colombian Aerospace Force, Colombian National Army and the Navy of Colombia gave a resounding blow to the Residual Organized Armed Groups - GAO-r, by the finding and dismantling of an illegal hideout containing war material.
Thanks to intelligence sources, it was possible to disable 248 improvised explosive devices, 236 7.62 mm caliber cartridges, as well as various military equipment and accessories, including 15 tactical hammocks, 07 campaign equipment and garments such as camouflage fabric, vests, tactical pants and ponchos, allegedly belonging to the residual GAO, Structure - 48.
With this type of operations, the military forces directly hit the logistics of storing war materiel used to commit acts that put the inhabitants and the Military Forces at risk in this region.
