The Military Air Transport Command, in coordination with the National Personnel Recovery Center of the Colombian Air Force, again sent an ambulance aircraft King-350 to carry out the transfer of three new critical patients from Caucasia and El Bagre in the Bajo Cauca of Antioquia.
The aircraft took off at Bogotá and carried out the transfer of each of the patients, two from Caucasia and one from El Bagre, to the Olaya Herrera Airport in Medellín and the Air Combat Command No.5 in Rionegro.
During the flights, the patients had the monitoring of the doctor and nurse of the crew of the ambulance aircraft, until they were handed over to the ambulances coordinated by the Emergency Regulatory Center-CRUE of Antioquia.
This is how the Colombian Air Force has already completed 3 days supporting the transfer of patients who require specialized medical assistance and who have been disturbed by the current situation in this part of the country, which is why it continues to be on alert to provide any support that contributes to the protection of the life of Colombians.
