In the municipality of Támara, Casanare, the Development Support Activity will be carried out, led by the Colombian Air Force, the National Army and the foundation Manos pintadas de azul (Hands Painted in Blue), which seeks to provide support to the inhabitants of this municipality in different medical specialties.
More than 50 volunteer doctors of the Hands Painted in Blue Foundation traveled from Bogotá, on board the Air Force aircraft Casa - 295, and for three days carried out the activity of medical assistance in different specialties such as general medicine, optometry, internal medicine, dentistry, physiotherapy, nutrition, gynecology, among others.
In the same way, more than 1,500 kilos of medical equipment and supplies were timely transported to meet the needs of the inhabitants; with this activity is expected to benefit more than 800 people in the municipality of Tamara, Casanare.
In this activity, men and women of the Colombian Air Force and the National Army will accompany the children and young people of Támara with recreational and recreational activities.
The Air Force serves the Colombians with all its air and logistical Resources to provide support to the inhabitants in any point of the national geography, in activities that contribute to their well-being and development.
