In the heart of the Vichada, 3,000 seedlings found a new home, thanks to an inspiring planting activity that united military and civilian personnel in a common work for the preservation of the environment. This initiative, led by the Colombian Aerospace Force, not only planted trees, but in the same way hopes and dreams of a greener future for the region.
The seedlings, generously donated by Inverbosques, were carefully selected to work on their adaptation to the local climate and soil, thus ensuring a positive and lasting impact on the ecosystem, promoting biodiversity and climate change mitigation. It should be noted that reforestation is especially important in Vichada, as it is a region prone to forest fires during times of drought.
During the activity, the spirit of people and collaboration was palpable. Servicemen of the Eastern Air Group and civilian volunteers worked shoulder to shoulder, united by the common mission of protecting and revitalizing the environment. This collective work symbolizes the union of wills to preserve the planet and improve the quality of life in the region.
