Within the framework of the Ayacucho Plan and with the resources of the Caquetá Military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) it was possible to rescue two citizens, who had been kidnapped under the modality of false service in the municipality of Puerto Rico in the department of Caquetá.
The victims were summoned to carry out some ornamentation work in the municipality of Paujil and when they arrived at the place they were intimidated, assaulted, restrained and isolated. Subsequently, the criminals make contact with the families, claiming that they belong to an organized armed group to make the economic demands of $9,500,000 in exchange for their release and not to attack their lives.
Immediately the troops of the Caquetá Military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) launched a rescue operation that led to the release of these two workers, giving them all the conditions to return them to their homes.
With these results, the Military aims to neutralize the criminal operations of the criminal structures specialized in extortion and kidnapping.
