Units of the Colombian Navy, in coordination with the National Police Intervention Unit of the National Police and the Technical Investigation Corps - CTI (Technical Investigations Corps) of the Attorney General's Office, carried out an anti-extortion operation where four individuals were arrested in flagrante delicto, who allegedly belonged to the Organized Gang La Local.
The facts were reported, when seven individuals arrived at a house found in the San Luis locality seven neighborhood of the Special District of Buenaventura, who identified themselves as members of the faction Los Shottas of the Organized Gang La Local, who demanded from a citizen 30 million pesos as a payment in exchange for not attacking his good physical condition and that of his family.
The timely denunciation of the victim to the authorities, led to troops of the Military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) of Buenaventura of the Colombian Navy, personnel of the National Police and the Technical Investigation Corps CTI (Technical Investigations Corps), deployed an anti-extortion operation in the locality seven of the Special District of Buenaventura, who arrested four individuals in flagrante delicto known by the aliases of Marlon, Juan, Miguelito, and El Sobrino, alleged members of the faction Los Shottas of the Organized Gang La Local, in the moment when they received from the victim three million fifty thousand pesos.
The arrested individuals were put into custody of the authorities for their prosecution.
With this arrest, the structure and finances of the Organized Gang La Local, the main criminal actor in the special district of Buenaventura, are directly hit.
