In support of the operation being carried out by the Manaure Fire Department, the Air Combat Command No.3, CACOM 3, sent a helicopter to the conflagration site.
After the call made by the National risk management Unit and the National Personnel Recovery Center, the Air Combat Command No.3, sent a Bell 212 helicopter equipped with the Bambi Bucket, system, with the purpose of supporting the work on land for the extinction of the forest fire in Manaure, Cesar.
This conflagration that hit approximately 450 hectares of forest was controlled after flying for more than three hours, making the spraying of 1,315 liters of water retarding liquid, added to the work with the National Army, the Firefighters of Manaure and the mayor of the municipality.
