The Eighth Division of the National Army in joint, coordinated and interinstitutional operations with the National Navy, National Police and Attorney General of the Nation, in the last few hours dealt a resounding blow in the department of Arauca against the Residual Organized Armed Group First Structure with the capture of five of its members.
With arrest warrants for the offenses of conspiracy to commit extortion and terrorism, troops of the Quiron Task Force, the Marine Infantry Battalion No. 52 and the National Police, carried out different military operations in the municipality of Arauquita, the first of them in its urban area, exactly in La Union neighborhood that led to the capture of alias Chente, alias Brayan and alias Luis Miguel, members of this group outlaw.
The other two captures were reported in the populated center of Panama de Arauca and the sector of Puente Quinay where they apprehended alias Frans and alias Huevo Frito respectively who were part of the network of support for terrorism of this illegal organization.
