The Joint Task Force Omega in military operations, in compliance with the Bicentennial Plan, continues to give decisive blows to the structures of the remaining Organized Armed Groups that commit crimes in the departments of Caquetá and Meta.
The first operation occurred in the jungle zone of Caquetá, where the military troops find in the hamlet Afiladero, in San Vicente del Caguán, an illegal hideout with 20 grenades of 40 MM, four magazines for AK-47 rifle, 33 Police type caps, a radio scanner and an a campaign equipment.
On the other hand, in the municipality of Santa Lucía, municipality of Puerto Rico, in the department of Meta, the troops found and destroyed an illegal hideout with three improvised explosive devices, made in weaponized gas cylinders of 40 pounds and also 15 antipersonnel mines that were ready to be planted in area.
Near this illegal hideout, the soldiers found a mined area with three devices that, apparently, would be used to hit the troops that carry out operations in this area of the country.
