So far in 2024, in the Department of Norte de Santander, more than 30 seedbeds with more than 300,000 bushes have been found.
As part of military operations, soldiers of Colombian National Army found and destroyed in controlled conditions a seedbed of coca leaves, with approximately 30,000 seedlings, in the rural area of the municipality of Hacarí, Department of Norte de Santander.
The military arrived at the Villanueva village, where there was a rudimentary structure that housed these coca leaf seedlings, which had a height of more than 30 centimeters.
This area is under the influence of the Residual Organized Armed Group, Structure 33.
These results directly hit the illicit activities and finances of the illegal groups that commit crimes in this area of the department.
