There were more than 1,500 gallons of gasoline and 12,230 gallons of diesel that were found by troops in the framework of different operations in the departments of Bolívar, Cesar and Chocó.
During search and control operations carried out by troops of the Colombian Navy and Colombian National Army in the rivers and roads of the departments of Bolívar, Cesar and Chocó department, liquid supplies that would be used for criminal activities were found by troops.
The operations carried out by troops of the Navy Infantry River Battalions No. 16 and 17, in the municipalities of Achí and Regidor in Bolívar, La Gloria in Cesar and Quibdó in Chocó, led to the finding of 1,500 gallons of gasoline and 12,230 gallons of DIESEL, thus damaging the logistics chain of organizations serving drug trafficking.
The fuel, which apparently would be used for the production of drugs, was being transported without the certificates for the handling of controlled chemical substances, for which it was put into custody of the authorities.
