In simultaneous operations there was a resounding blow against drug trafficking dealt by the Technical Investigation Corps of the Prosecutor's Office and coordinated with the National Police.
The National Army managed to find more than two tons of “creepy” marijuana, which were hidden in a truck and camouflaged among more than 180 sacks of tubers.

On the other hand, thanks to the constant monitoring of military intelligence, troops of the José Hilario López Battalion along with the CTI (Technical Investigations Corps), arrived at the village El Tablón, in the municipality of Caldono, where they search a house which concealed inside more than 1,286 kilograms of this psychotropic. According to the first information it would have as destination the city of Manaus, in the neighboring country of Brazil.
In this house there was an individual who was captured. He would apparently be the guardian of this narcotic and would have the function of coordinating transportation and shipping along the routes of the Colombian southwest.
This narcotic would belong to the Residual Organized Armed Group Gao-R, substructure sixth, which sought to exchange weapons of different calibers in order to strengthen its armed operation and attack on the Security forces. It is estimated that each kilogram of marijuana would be sold for close to one million pesos, thus exceeding 3,000 million pesos.
