Putumayo. In a joint operation conducted by the National Navy, the National Army and the Colombian Air Force, a resounding blow was given to the criminal organizations in the south of the country, which resulted in the discovery of more than 170 kilograms of Creepy-type marijuana and the capture of an individual of Colombian nationality.
The heavy fluvial controls conducted in the south of Colombia led to deal this blow to drug trafficking in the area of the municipality of Puerto Ospina, in the department of Putumayo, where troops found 365 packages, which contained 176 kilograms of marijuana type Creepy, hidden inside a footwear reparation machine, transported aboard a tug boat.
The motorboat was manned by an individual of Colombian nationality, 29, who was put into custody of the prosecutor's office of the municipality of Puerto Asís, for the crimes of trafficking, manufacture and carrying narcotics.
The material apparently belonged to the Organized Armed Group Residual 48, would have a cost of more than 1,600 million Colombian pesos.
