This place would be at the service of the organized armed group ELN, Camilo Torres Restrepo Front.
In the last few hours, within the framework of military operations, conducted by Colombian National Army and the National Police, there was a laboratory with the capacity to produce about three tons of cocaine hydrochloride per month, in a rural area of the municipality of Ocaña, Department of Norte de Santander.
The military and police officers arrived at the village of El Salado, where there were three improvised constructions, which had more than 100 gallons of cocaine hydrochloride in solution, more than 25 kilos of cocaine hydrochloride, about 30 kilos of coca paste base and different precursors for the production of narcotics.
The place, which would be at the service of the organized armed group ELN, Camilo Torres Restrepo Front, would cost more than 7000 million pesos. The laboratory was destroyed in controlled conditions.
So far in 2024, the Thirtieth Brigade has found more than 6 tons of cocaine hydrochloride in the Department of Norte de Santander.
