In Fluvial Targeted operations, troops of the Colombian Navy, through the Infantry Battalion No. 30 in coordination with the National Police, found and destroyed under controlled conditions, an illegal hideout with more than 500 kilograms of explosive material, in the area of 鈥媡he hamlet La Roca, Municipality of San Miguel (Putumayo).
According to intelligence sources, this material would be used to carry out terrorist attacks against the Security forces, road infrastructure and oil infrastructure in the region.
520 kilograms of explosive material were found by troops, including black powder and ANFO, which was contained in 10 white sacks, four large black bags and two five gallon barrels, belonging to the Residual Armed Group Structure 48.
There were no captures.
