In the place troops found more than 100 kilos of cocaine hydrochloride in solution and 60 kilos of cocaine base, which would be cost in the foreign market at 3,900 million dollars.
The operations carried out by National Army units in coordination with the Police, resulted in the discovery of a cocaine hydrochloride laboratory, belonging to the organized armed group GAO Clan del Golfoo.
The operation was carried out on the Canada hamlet of the municipality of Fuentedeoro, where troops of the Ariari Military Gaula of the Seventh Brigade and Anti-Narcotics Police personnel arrived and found among the weeds a structure that contained more than 1,000 gallons inside with liquid precursors and 1,100 kilograms of solid precursors, as well as elements used to obtain these drugs such as electric washing machines, industrial stoves, electric pumps, among others.
The laboratory would cost more than 850 million pesos and would have a production capacity of 400 kilograms per month, which according to military intelligence were transported in small vehicles by the municipalities of Puerto Rico or Puerto Lleras depending on the control of the authorities.
The cocaine laboratory was given to the authority to conduct the respective judicial and destruction process.
