Buenaventura. The Colombian Navy dealt a new blow to the drug trafficking organizations that commit crimes in the Colombian Pacific, by achieving the discovery of a structure, in which they were building a boat that had inside 247 kilograms of cocaine hydrochloride and marijuana, in the rural area of the municipality of Buenaventura, in the department of Valle del Cauca.
In development of a territorial control operation, the troops of the Marine Infantry Brigade No.2 of the Pacific Naval Force, found a structure of wood and plastic, where a green boat was being built and had contained 46 packages of what would be cocaine hydrochloride and 201 packages of marijuana, as well as 10 barrels with 200 gallons of gasoline, to transport the illicit substances.
According to information from Naval Intelligence, it was established that the alkaloid and the material found in the Bellavista stream of the Antonio Nariño neighborhood of the commune 11 belonged to the organized criminal group - GAO “Clan Bustamante”.
The troops of the Marine Infantry Brigade No. 2 transported the materials the facilities of the Navy of Colombia in Buenaventura, to put it into custody of the authorities, who confirm 46 kilograms of cocaine hydrochloride and 201 kilograms of cannabis-type marijuana.
In less than a week, the Pacific Naval Force has found 1,965 kilograms of cocaine hydrochloride and marijuana. The previous operations were carried out in the department of Nariño, where it was possible to find 1.7 tons of alkaloids.
