Soldiers of the National Army, in coordination with the National Police, carried out the finding and dismantling of a cocaine laboratory in the municipality of Pi帽oncitos, in the municipality of Aguachica, Cesar, which generated resources to the northeastern war front of the Organized Armed Group, GAO, ELN.
The cocaine laboratory, made up of six structures of different dimensions, produced about 600 kilograms of the drug every month, would cost more than a billion pesos. 340 kilograms of the substance, 576 gallons of liquid precursors and 215 kilograms of solid precursors were found by troops inside.
In the same way, the soldiers found inside it a four-hole worm, a dragon, a distillation tower, a boiler, a press and other more elements, necessary for the production of the narcotic.
This result is an important loss for the drug trafficking chain that generates resources to the finance subsystem of the GAO ELN for the planning and execution of terrorist operations against the Military Forces and civilians. In the same way, the National Army reaffirms its commitment to carry out sustained military operations to counter the criminal operations of the different threat factors that attack on good physical condition and security in the region.
