Inhabitants of Otanche, in the department of Boyacá, are the protagonists of a large peasant market that seeks to boost the agricultural sector in this region of the country.
On the occasion of exalting the operation carried out by rural entrepreneurs in Otanche, Boyacá, in favor of Colombia, the Rural Development Agency and the Faith in Colombia program joined together to conduct the great Fair “Building Rural Development”, which aims to generate real opportunities in the construction of the country lands with future, which promotes rural entrepreneurship.
This event in the same way sought to contribute to the transformation of Colombian agriculture where the big beneficiaries were small local entrepreneurs, who had the opportunity to market their products with their own and tourists.
Meanwhile, Claudia Ortiz, director of the Rural Development Agency, said: “We are in western Boyacá, a land of progress, peace and development, together with the National Army and the Faith in Colombia program, bringing rural development, through an impressive and beautiful peasant market, where all the producers of this province brought their products to show them so that people buy these products, improving the life of the entrepreneurs of the country”.
During the event, children could in the same have fun with recreational activities, inflatables, balloon twisting, face painting and an afternoon of Cinema at the Park thanks to the Bicentenary Heroes of the Comprehensive Action and Development Support Command and the Second Division.
This is how the Fe en Colombia program, and the National Army, will continue to work together with the Rural Development Agency, promoting initiatives and projects that benefit the Colombian rural sector.
