After a journey of more than 4 hours through ways in bad conditions and overcoming the difficulties presented by the poor state of those roads, the National Army through the Support Command of Comprehensive Action and Development with its Comprehensive Action Support Battalion No. 5 and the Professional Officers of the Reserve, together with the Air Force, arrived at the village La Marina, in the municipality of Chaparral, with different activities and services for the benefit of more than 900 people.
In the course of the activity, services were provided in general medicine, pediatrics, audiology, physiotherapy, dentistry, psychology, nursing and veterinary, among others, with the purpose of covering all the needs of the community.
In the same way, the Bicentenary Heroes of the Support Battalion of Comprehensive Action and Development No.5, conducted recreational activities for the children and young people of the zone, propitiating the healthy and happy environment that all our children deserve in this month of the child.
Major Yann Dubi谩n Blanco Parra, Commander of the Comprehensive Action Support Battalion No. 5, said: "We managed to carry out a Development Support Activity with specialized medical services and veterinary medicine, benefiting this community that has few resources and a limited possibility of displacement to the main municipality ".
"I thank the National Army for the brigade they brought to our municipality and the Comprehensive Action Battalion for all the activities for the children and our health," said Arnulfo V谩quiro Torres, a resident of the area.
