The Colombian Air Force, in coordination with the Manos Pintadas de Azul Foundation, the El Minuto de Dios Organization Corporation, Totto, the National Army and the Cumaribo Mayor's Office, decided to carry out a Development Support Activity, where Sikuani ethnic communities access different services for free.
The activity was carried out for two days at the Güérima hamlet in the department of Vichada where people received from very early health specialists services such as dentistry, gynecology, pediatrics, orthopedics, nutrition, general medicine, ultrasound, dental kits, among other services.
In addition to this, 1.2 tons of donations were distributed, including clothes, toys and backpacks that were collected thanks to a voluntary work of the participating institutions.
More than 443 services and 560 people benefitted, including children and adults, are in the positive report of this activity that thanks to the voluntary support of health professionals provided brought health, well-being and joy to those who need it most.
