The Joint Task Force Hercules and the Special Brigade against Drug Trafficking, carried out territorial control operations to counter drug trafficking in the South Pacific of the department of Nariño.
Thanks to military intelligence, the discovery and controlled destruction of a new cocaine hydrochloride laboratory in the village of Mayasquer, municipality of Barbacoas, department of Nariño, took place.
The operation that took place in the framework of the military and police campaign "Atlas" continues to the hit the operations of illegal armed groups that commit crimes in the region, especially against the Residual GAO "Oliver Sinisterra" which loses more of 500 million pesos with this new military operation.
The cocaine hydrochloride complex had five structures, in which troops found two “Martians” (distillation towers), four microwave ovens, a hydraulic press, 990 gallons of DIESEL and multiple elements used for the production of this drug.
