The cylinders were to be used for the manufacture of improvised explosive devices.
Through intelligence work, troops of the Infantry Battalion No.44 Ram贸n Nonato P茅rez of the sixteen Brigade of the National Army in a military operation, managed to find an illegal hideout in the municipality of San Rafael, in the municipality of Recetor, Casanare. At the site were found by troops seven gas cylinders of different sizes, which would be used to manufacture high-power improvised explosive devices.
The elements found would belong to the V铆ctor Manuel D铆az group of the Jos茅 David Su谩rez front of the Organized Armed Group, GAO, Eln, and would be used to indiscriminately attack civilians, military units and the critical infrastructure of the country.
The material found was destroyed under controlled conditions by soldiers of the EXDE DELTA anti-explosion group of the National Army.
