The constant operations conducted by the Joint Task Force Omega in coordination with the National Police in the rural area of Meta, under the Bicentennial Plan, resulted in the discovery of an illegal hideout with war material, communications equipment and military garments and a coca base paste laboratory in rural area of the department of Meta.
Thanks to the support of the Civic Participation Network in the village El Placer, municipality of Vistahermosa, in the department of Meta, troops in coordination with the National Police, found the illegal hideout with 462 cartridges caliber 5.56mm, 130 units caliber 7.62mm, 52 units caliber 7.62mm AK-47, a base radio and military accessories.
On the other hand, in territorial control operations, the troops found and subsequently destroyed a wooden structure of approximately six square meters that contained two 30-gallon barrels with coca leaf in process, a press, a pump to spray and an engine.
