In the village of Tilupo, in Riosucio, Chocó, an operation was carried out in which a camping area was dismantled where an area for instruction was used by the “Clan del Golfo” for accommodation and training; in the same way a 31-year-old woman was detained.
With AH-60 'Harpia' helicopters belonging to the Air Combat Command No.5, the air commands No. 2, 3, 4 and 7, the Colombian Air Force participated in this mission that directly hit the substructure 'Efrén Vargas Gutiérrez' of the Organized Armed Group, GAO, “Clan del Golfo”.
The operation was carried out in combination with the National Border Service, SENAFRONT of Panama, the Air Force, the Army, the Navy and the National Police. Military garments, communications equipment, weapons and precursors, among other elements, were in the same way found in this operation that is part of the Agamemnon II operation of the military forces and Police.
