9,432 trees have been planted in Palmira Valle del Cauca and the Colombian Air Force, through the Air Combat Command No.7, has been part of these environmental activities that contribute to the preservation of the flora and fauna of the department.
In coordination with the environment office of the mayor's office of Palmira, every Friday the appointment takes place in different sectors of this municipality to plant 100 specimens, including floral shrubs, fruit trees and palms.
During the activities, public and private institutions such as the National Army, the National Police, environmental actors and the community in the same way participate, all united to this noble cause.
Through these operations, the Colombian Air Force will continue to support the protection and care of the environment; rising awareness among the inhabitants to respect and join the operations that lead to preserve Colombian biodiversity.
