In a quick reaction, the Colombian Aerospace Force, through the Amazon Air Group and coordination with the National Personnel Recovery Center- CENRP, conducted the aeromedical transfer of an elderly woman with a reserved prognosis who required specialized assistance in the capital city of the country.
The woman, who was transported in a King 350 type aircraft attached to the Military Air Transport Command, was assisted and stabilized at the GAAMA ramp by the staff of military doctors, who, in turn, would conduct the accompaniment during the flight, ensuring her well-being at all times.
It should be noted that this operation is carried out daily from all regions of the country; during the year 2024, the GAAMA, in coordination with the CENRP, has carried out more than 17 aeromedical transfers of people in delicate health, who required assistance in the capital city of the country, making all its resources available in compliance with the mission of safeguarding Colombians who need it most
