Within the framework of the Colombia-United States Cooperation Plan for Central America and the Caribbean, the Ecuadorian Air Force hosted the Colombian Aerospace Force for thirteen days to receive from the Colombian instructors the basic course of Aircraft Monitoring and Analysis.
The course was carried out in the Air Operations and Defense Command of Ecuador, in which 15 military personnel of this sister Force were trained, so that they obtained ideal knowledge in the procedures, instructions and most important, the considerations that the officer or non-commissioned officer, who works in the area of Air Defense monitoring and Analysis or related, should take into account.
With this type of international courses, the Colombian Aerospace Force strengthens the fight against drug trafficking and other threats at the national and international level, which leads to continuing to have operational successes, such as those obtained in recent years in Central America and the Caribbean.
