In a collaborative effort to promote agricultural development and reduce illicit plantations in the department of Vichada, the Eastern Air Group of the Colombian Aerospace Force has held a series of strategic meetings aimed at promoting the second phase of the Cacao cultivation project.
Together with the Cacao growers association of G眉erima, various fundamental issues for the development of the project were addressed, including the expansion, transformation and commercialization of Cacao, in addition to analyzing current needs. In the same way, a very important inter-institutional meeting was held, bringing together different local and regional key institutions in agricultural development.
The incoming and outgoing teams of the Mayor's Office of the municipality of Cumaribo, the Government, the Secretariat of Government of Cumaribo, and the Agrarian Bank, among others, marked a milestone in institutional coordination and cooperation conducted by governmental, local institutions and the private sector which become the fundamental pillar for the success and sustainability of this program.
The promotion of the Cacao project in this region not only represents a significant step in terms of agricultural development, but in the same way a clear example of synergy and collaboration conducted by diverse institutions in pursuit of a common goal: to strengthen the local and regional economy, providing opportunities for growth and sustainability for producers in the area.
In this way, the Colombian Aerospace Force and the Eastern Air Group will continue to contribute to the structural transformations of the rural areas of the country, improving the quality of life of its inhabitants and demonstrating that everything is possible from legality.
