In compliance with the Plan de Campaña Bicentenario Héroes de la Libertad (Heroes of Liberty Bicentenary Campaign Plan), the Joint Stabilization and Consolidation Task Force Hercules, the Brigade Against Drug Trafficking in contribution to the unified operation of the State, achieved the finding and destruction of a cocaine hydrochloride production laboratory, in the village of Colorado, in the municipality of Tumaco, Nariño.
Operations in the area against the residual Armed Organized Group Oliver Sinisterra led to the dismantling of this complex made up of eight structures, in which 2,026 kilograms of cocaine hydrochloride, 904 kilograms of coca base paste, solid and liquid supplies (905 gallons of acetone, 165 gallons of DIESEL, material and machinery used to process the drug) were found by troops.
This laboratory had a monthly production capacity of four tons of the narcotic substance. With this important result, the finances of drug trafficking are weakened by about USD 3.7 million.
The material found and the structures were destroyed in a controlled condition in the area of operations, complying with the environmental preservation measures. With this result, there is a decisive blow to the residual GAO Oliver Sinisterra, who commits crimes on the Pacific Coast of Nariño, thus damaging the illicit finances and criminal operations of the structure.
