The soldiers of land, sea, river and air are ready to pay tribute to the Colombian people with the traditional military and police parade.
Men and women of the National Army, the Colombian Navy, the Colombian Air Force, and the National Police will exhibit their multiple Resources used in military operations on land, sea, river and air.
They will show their best in the majestic military parade, who will walk the streets of the main cities of the country to motivate pride and respect for our flag, for our patriotic symbol.
It will be a celebration that will make you vibrate and feel proud to be Colombian.
In addition, this patriotic day, families and partners will enjoy in person with various cultural activities that will take place in different cities of the country with the sole purpose of continuing to inspire us to continue working for our homeland, and to bring our passion and kindness to all corners of the world.
Why is it celebrated?
July 20th is an emblematic day of the Independence of Colombia, because it is considered that that day was the first milestone of independence of what was then called the New Granada that put an end to the Spanish colonization and when the cry of independence took place, so this date is the most important patriotic celebration of the country today.
