This person was having an epileptic seizure while leaving with his family in this busy sector of the island.
As part of patrol and control activities in San Andrés Isla, the Colombian Navy supported the medical evacuation of a 27-year-old tourist, who fainted due to a convulsive episode, associated with the underlying pathology of epilepsy, while he was leaving with his family in Rose Cay, in the same way called Aquarius Cay.
Once the alert was received, the Coast Guard Station of San Andrés deployed a Rapid Reaction Unit - URR to the scene of the emergency, to transport this person along with one of his companions to a safe dock, where he was immediately assisted by the team of nurses of the Emergency Regulatory Center - CRUE.
